I apologize for the awful photos but I do want to keep you updated on how the goats are coming along. It has been nothing but gray, wet and dreary cold here and nobody wants to pose. All they want to know is when I’m bringing the next meal is coming and if it involves grain.
First up is Perdita. She has about three weeks to go and I swear she looks bigger every time I go out there! She walks around looking like a sumo wrestler which is hilarious and pathetic both at the same time. I don’t know what to expect from her this year but she has had triplets and twins in the past. I can feel the kids moving around if I sneak a feel, but she really doesn’t like to be messed with when she’s expecting (I remember that feeling!)
And then there is sweet Cinderella and she is due at the end of April we think. Her baby bump has just started to show and since she is new to us, I am very excited to see her offspring.
And I must include a shot from behind. Please pardon my messy yard – I have SO much work to do as soon as the weather is nicer. I can’t wait to get outside and work again!
