I just received my first bottle of Young Living’s Bergamot essential oil and I am so thrilled. It has the most heavenly, light, fresh fragrance. I read a post on Facebook a few weeks ago about Bergamot and how it can help with the winter blues – and when you live in Ohio, there is a very long dreary season for the winter blues to settle in. So I took a chance and ordered it. Honestly there isn’t an oil from YL that I haven’t loved so it wasn’t that much of a chance. I will be diffusing and wearing this one probably daily. I absolutely love it. I also saw a testimony that it helps with PMS, so we shall see about that. One reason I love essential oils so much is because they ALL have many uses.
this is from the Young Living site about Bergamot:
Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) has the fresh, sweet, citrus scent that is familiar to many as the flavoring in Earl Grey Tea. Uplifting and relaxing, it is good for building confidence and enhancing your mood. It has a long history of use for oily and troubled skin.
Diffuse or apply to temples and forehead. May be added to food or rice milk as a dietary supplement.
Caution: Bergamot is very photosensitive and should NOT be applied to skin that will be exposed to direct sunlight or ultraviolet light within 48 hours. If pregnant or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician.
