I am honored that you are taking the time to read this!
Here’s the dirt on me:
I recently turned 40 and my firstborn started driving. That rocked me at my core. I have no idea how I got to this point in life so quickly. Suddenly I feel the need to be more, say more, do more that matters.
I am married to Greg, my high school sweetheart. My husband is my best friend and I would rather hang out with him than do anything else. We are celebrating 20 years of marriage this year!
As a new 40-something, I would say I’ve become slightly obsessed with turning back the clock. Or at least slowing it down. I am learning to love healthy foods and I might even be changing my mind about daily exercise. I’m still a work in progress.
With the help of copious amounts of coffee, prayer, and essential oils, I’m overcoming a decade+ of major sleep deprivation and the health issues that followed.
I am a follower of Jesus but I hate religion.
I recently have felt called to support missionaries in a HUGE way and am using my network marketing skills to fund it!
I am a country-raised farm girl at heart, but where I currently live makes my wildest dreams…well, they stay dreams. But I believe in blooming where I’m planted so we invest in our little suburban farm – just enough to keep my heart happy.
My secret talent is Nintendo. All Zelda games specifically.
I am an awesome cook, but I like it to be simple. I rarely follow a recipe, so when I post one on this blog it means it is THAT good.
My husband and I once butchered a mean rooster on Valentine’s Day and it is one of my best memories. We bonded on a whole new level that day.
We do grow some of our own food here, including meat. We have become experts in butchering chickens, ducks, rabbits, and goats.
Overall I’m a pretty normal gal, working at home, growing a successful business on the internet, and trying to enjoy life. God keeps me going and I am thankful for His blessing on us.
Thanks for checking me out!
